Shopping for baby

I've had several people ask about buying things for baby. First of all, we don't know yet whether it is a boy or a girl. Yes, we are going to find out. And yes, sometime not too long after we do we will tell everyone.

What we know right now is colors for the nursery:
Girl: Bright Pink and Orange
Boy: Chocolate Brown and Orange

We are not a fan of pastels, for the nursery, blankets, clothing anything.

That's all for now, soon I will be getting the registries all up and going.

I don't remember that day, but then again I believe that is one of those classes I try to block out...like most of them.

I want you to know that for Christmas last year K&K got me educational placemats because I rave and rave about my genius friends who always had them at their table. It was my first baby gift, before there was baby.

And, yes, of course orange is the color of choice. And it just makes sense to have it for both, so some stuff can be re-used. See-its all about practicality. Well, til you try to buy orange baby stuff-it's practically non-existant.

O.k. - So I can't even buy something in soft pink if it's a girl??? Does every piece of clothing have to be not pastel???? :-(

Hey - I can quit being anonymous! I have a blogger name now. I feel so with it.

One something in soft pink worn with something not pastel would be okay. No, obviously people who are not in the know are going to buy us pastel clothes since that's basically 90% of whats out there, but we prefer the bright stuff, so if we tell our adoring public that, we have a better chance of getting some bright stuff at least.

You should be able to find orange stuff around Halloween. :)
